Sentry mode utilises sensors and cameras to protect your pride and joy when a threat approaches the vehicle or an abnormal intrusion is detected. 360-degree cameras allow you to utilise the massive 15.6” display to give you full control over your surroundings. A full suite of ADAS anti-collision systems come standard on the M9. These aren’t just alerts – this is omnidirectional collision avoidance.

Practical and convenient

Storage can be a problem in a lot of vehicles, but the M9 proves to be more convenient than most. The M9 boasts 32 distinct storage compartments around the vehicle, accommodating everything from water bottles to handbags and more.

5th generation Dual Mode Hybrid technology

The latest Dual Mode technology from BYD, providing electric only driving for short distance travel and hybrid driving for longer trips, with the system balancing performance and energy saving for the ultimate in efficient driving. At a High SoC the Dynamic will achieve 2.7L/100km, while the Premium will achieve 1.6L/100km.

The M9 is equipped with an ultra-long side curtain airbag spanning nearly 3m long, protecting occupants in all three rows of the vehicle. At the front of the vehicle, a full suite of ADAS collision systems avoid unnecessary collisions for any surprise obstacles that pop up. At the rear, a suite of safety systems keep you safe laterally and APMP technology stops you from accidentally pressing the accelerator.

The M9 is available in Premium 2+2+3, with the Dynamic 2+3+3 seating configuration coming soon. Flexibility to meet all your family's needs, for all of life's adventures.

Practicality

A slotted trunk design provides a sub-level deep slot in the rear of the M9 luggage area, making it perfect for long distance travel requiring luggage.

Convenience

The M9 is loaded with features that make your life easier, including a centre console with phone slot, a front seat document bag and small table, rear seating with 2 phone slots and a 3rd row armrest, also with phone slots.
